NEHA Presents Bed Bug Webinar Series

National Environmental Health Association home

NEHA is proud to host this two-part webinar series featuring Dr. Aaron Ashbrook, Assistant Professor of Urban/Peri-Urban Entomology at Louisiana State University.

Bed bugs can thrive in homes, hotels, public buildings, and beyond—posing persistent challenges for prevention and control. This session will examine how infestations begin, why they persist, and how bed bug biology shapes their behavior and spread. Attendees will learn how to recognize key signs of infestation, protect themselves during inspections, and apply effective strategies for early detection and response.

As bed bug challenges continue to shift, new tools and technologies are reshaping how we detect and control them. This session will highlight the latest innovations—from advanced insecticides and detection devices to integrated and sustainable management approaches. Participants will explore the environmental implications of different control methods and gain insights into selecting and implementing tools effectively.
