Gulf South VECTOR hosts a special webinar on “New World Screwworm – Biology and Potential Impact” featuring Dr. Sonja Swiger, Professor and Extension Specialist in Livestock, Veterinary, and Medical Entomology.

This session will explore the biology of the New World Screwworm, its history, biology, and the growing concerns about its reemergence. Learn how this parasitic fly threatens livestock, wildlife, and public health, and what we can do to stay ahead of it.

This is a free webinar. Advance registration is required. One hour of CE will be provided for environmental health professionals/sanitarians in Florida, Louisiana, and Texas.
