AMCA Young Professionals Committee Seeking New Members
The American Mosquito Control Association Young Professionals Committee is seeking new committee members for a one-year term beginning in August. The YPs Committee is a valuable opportunity for students and early-career mosquito and vector professionals to network within AMCA, build professional skills, and serve the association.
AMCA Young Professionals membership is open to students and new mosquito and vector professionals with fewer than five years in AMCA and fewer than eight years in a mosquito or vector-related field, including government, industry, academia, and related sectors. YPs membership is free, and there are no geographic restrictions.
What do the YP Committee Members Do?
- Help plan and run all YPs’ activities at the AMCA Annual Meeting
- Lead year-round initiatives like webinars, newsletters, social media, and more
- Build connections with fellow professionals in the field
