This is an in-person and virtual training event hosted by the Anastasia Mosquito Control District for veterinary personnel and other animal welfare professionals. Sessions are designed to educate veterinary personnel and other professionals on veterinary disaster preparedness, vector biology and disease risks, and vector control for veterinary facilities. Attendees will also have access to a hands-on ectoparasite identification laboratory.
This training event has received RACE approval through the American Association of Veterinary State Boards. It is approved for 3.0 hours of continuing education in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval for veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
