Mosquito and Vector Control Awareness: Bridging the Gaps Between Mosquito and Vector Control Programs, Public Health, Medical and Veterinary Professionals, Politicians, and the Public
This presentation will discuss the lack of awareness about many local mosquito and vector control programs throughout the United States, why this challenge may be happening, what issues it can cause, and possible solutions currently being investigated by needs assessments, stakeholder connections and education conducted through the Gulf South VECTOR collaborative in the Gulf region if the United States. This webinar, featuring Nina Dacko, an entomological expert contracted by Gulf South VECTOR, will review issues caused by the lack of standardization among these programs and the goals of Gulf South Vector to mitigate these issues.
