Please join us on August 1, 2024, at 9:30 am for our IPM Virtual Meeting. This is part of a public meeting series brought to you by the San Francisco Environment Department (SFE) in collaboration with the San Francisco Agricultural Commissioner. Meeting attendees are eligible to earn up to two California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) Continuing Education Credits, Category Other.

Our featured speaker will be Roger A. Baldwin, PhD, a Professor of Cooperative Extension at the University of California (UC), Davis. He will present on the identification of mammal pest species and integrated pest management tools and approaches for managing burrowing mammals. Roger conducts his research and extension program primarily in agricultural and natural resource environments, with a special emphasis on mammalian species. Roger received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in various wildlife-related programs from Kansas State University, The University of Memphis, and New Mexico State University, respectively.

This session will be facilitated by Shoba Iyer, PhD, from SFE. The featured speakers’ presentation will follow some initial introductions and announcements. Approximately the last 30 minutes will be allocated for peer-to-peer IPM problem-solving.
