SUMMARY:2026 Northwest Florida Pest Management and Wildlife Management Conference
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Northwest Florida Pest Management and Wildlife Management Conference (In Honor of Sheila Dunning)\, takes place February 25–26\, 2026\, at the Niceville Community Center in Niceville\, Florida. \nThis two-day conference brings together pest control professionals\, wildlife managers\, researchers\, and industry partners for timely\, practical education. New for 2026\, Day Two will feature expanded programming for wildlife managers\, including focused sessions on rodents\, pathogens of concern to both pest control and wildlife professionals\, and important differences in PPE use when working with pesticides versus wildlife and nesting materials. \nHosted as part of Gulf South VECTOR\, this event is offered as a public service by UF/IFAS Urban Entomology Lab\, FAMU Urban Entomology Lab\, GSV\, and industry partners. Thanks to this collaboration\, registration is free for Pest Control Operators\, technicians\, and Master Gardeners. \nAttendees can expect a full agenda covering topics such as cockroach management\, termite biology\, invasive species updates\, pollinator protection\, rodent safety\, and lawn and ornamental pest management—presented by experts from the University of Florida\, Florida A&M University\, FDACS\, and Extension. \nAttendance is limited to 120 participants\, and the conference filled to capacity last year\, so early registration is strongly encouraged. \nExhibitor OpportunitiesExhibitors are invited to participate for a $180 table fee\, which includes both days of the conference and multiple structured networking opportunities during registration\, breaks\, and lunches.
