DESCRIPTION:Texas A&M AgriLife Extension\, City of New Orleans Mosquito\, Termite and Rodent Control Board\, and Mosquito BEACONS\, as part of the Gulf South VECTOR\, are hosting an Advanced Mosquito Identification Workshop.  This course is a one-and-a-half-day event offering a comprehensive overview of mosquito biology\, vector-borne diseases\, QGIS for mapping\, operational integrated mosquito management\, larval identification\, common and invasive mosquito species of the Gulf South identification workshops via microscopy\, and New World Screwworm\, among other topics. \n  \nCourse Schedule \n\nDay 1 begins at 12:45 p.m.\nDay 2 is from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.\nBreakfast and lunch provided on day 2.\n\n  \nNeed Assistance? \n\nEvent Questions – please email susan.keith@ag.tamu.edu.\nTechnical Questions (registering) – please call 979-803-1372 or email agriliferegister@ag.tamu.edu.\nCancellations received no later than Tuesday\, Nov. 11\, 2025 will be issued a full refund.
